Project Summary

MotoGP Information Carousel is a ten-slide social media carousel that I created to present information about MotoGP in a more visual and engaging format. The project combines rider imagery, motorcycles, racing elements and bold graphic treatments to capture the speed and energy associated with MotoGP.

My main goal was to make each slide visually interesting while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the entire carousel.

Idea / Concept

The idea behind this project was to transform motorsport information into a visual sequence that feels energetic and easy to follow.

I wanted each slide to have its own focus while still looking like part of the same series. To achieve this, I used strong contrast, bold typography, racing-inspired graphic elements and dynamic image placement to reflect the excitement and movement of MotoGP.

Technique / Approach

I used image cutouts, layered backgrounds, bold typography and directional graphic shapes to create a sense of movement across the carousel.

A consistent layout structure, colour treatment and typography hierarchy were maintained throughout all ten slides so that the audience could easily recognise them as part of the same visual series.

I also paid attention to the balance between images and text to make sure the information remained readable without losing the high-energy visual style.

Creative Process / Idea Generation

I started by planning the information that I wanted to present and dividing it into individual topics for each slide. This helped me decide the purpose and visual focus of every part of the carousel before working on the final layouts.

I then developed a consistent visual direction that could be reused across all ten slides. Rider and motorcycle images were prepared and arranged together with headlines, supporting information and graphic elements.

Throughout the process, I reviewed the slides as a complete sequence rather than as individual designs. I adjusted the spacing, image placement, typography and graphic elements to make sure the transition from one slide to another felt consistent and visually connected.

Final Outcome

The final outcome is a complete ten-slide MotoGP information carousel with a consistent visual identity from the opening slide to the final frame.

This project allowed me to practise designing for a multi-slide format instead of focusing on only a single poster. It also helped me improve my understanding of information hierarchy, visual consistency and how repeated design elements can connect multiple layouts into one complete visual experience.

Behind the Work

One of the main challenges in this project was maintaining the same level of visual energy across ten different slides without making every layout look exactly the same.

I wanted each slide to feel different enough to keep the audience interested, while still using a consistent design language throughout the carousel. I achieved this by repeating selected typography styles, colours and graphic elements while changing the placement of rider images, motorcycles and supporting content depending on the information presented.

I also experimented with image scale, cropping and directional shapes to create a stronger sense of speed and movement. Since MotoGP is a fast-paced motorsport, I wanted the visual style to reflect that character rather than using a static or conventional information layout.

Working on this project taught me that carousel design requires more than designing individual slides. The order, pacing and visual connection between each slide are equally important. It helped me develop a better understanding of how graphic design can guide viewers through information while maintaining a strong and consistent visual identity.
