Project Summary

A three-poster recruitment series promoting TVET participation through bold typography, vocational imagery and location-specific event information.

Idea / Concept

The concept positions TVET as an active, practical and accessible pathway for young people. Oversized lettering and hands-on vocational imagery turn a direct recruitment message into an energetic campaign identity.

Technique / Approach

Portrait layouts combine large-scale sans-serif typography, duotone photography, colour blocking, framed image areas and clear calls to action. Each variation adapts the shared system to different information requirements while retaining campaign recognition.

Creative Process / Idea Generation

The provisional process begins by identifying the recurring message, logos and vocational imagery, then establishing a flexible portrait grid. Colour treatments and image crops are adjusted for each variation before the event details and calls to action are checked for legibility.

Tools / Software

Canva (verified in the embedded export metadata; all three posters share one Canva document identifier). Original image sources and any additional tools require confirmation.

Final Outcome

A coordinated three-poster recruitment set suitable for social or digital campaign use. The Alor Setar event date is confirmed as 21 February 2025. Organisation approval and image rights require confirmation before publication.

Behind the Work

This provisional case study presents three TVET recruitment posters as a coordinated campaign encouraging young people to consider practical skills training. The main design challenge was balancing a short, energetic call to action with institutional logos, vocational imagery and, in one variation, detailed event information. Oversized TVET lettering becomes the dominant visual anchor, while duotone photography and strong colour fields create a youthful, active tone. A likely process began by selecting images that represent hands-on learning, then developing a flexible portrait grid around the shared Jom Masuk TVET message. Image crops, colour treatments and supporting copy were adjusted for each variation without losing campaign recognition. The final series demonstrates typographic hierarchy, photo treatment and the ability to adapt one visual system across different communication needs. Canva is verified in the embedded export metadata, and all three files share one document identifier. Ammar contributed as the designer, and the Alor Setar event date is confirmed as 21 February 2025. Before publication, the intended channels, image permissions and organisation approval should be confirmed.
