Project Summary
A high-energy esports campaign comprising two tournament posters and a champion mock cheque for the Next Gen E-Sport: Rise of Champions event series.
Idea / Concept
The concept translates competitive gaming energy into an event identity built around champions, prize value and scale. Character imagery, metallic display type and vivid colour contrast communicate intensity and immediate tournament appeal.
Technique / Approach
Layered game-character composites use glow, texture, geometric overlays, halftone patterns and large outlined typography. Information blocks separate prize, date and participation details, while recurring silver and orange title treatments connect the assets.
Creative Process / Idea Generation
The provisional process begins by organising the tournament hierarchy around event name, prize pool, dates and registration. Character cutouts and background effects are assembled around that hierarchy, followed by contrast and legibility checks. The same identity is then adapted to a landscape champion mock cheque.
Tools / Software
Canva (verified in the embedded export metadata). The two portrait posters share one Canva document identifier; the mock cheque was exported from a separate Canva document. Source-image licences and any additional tools require confirmation.
Final Outcome
A three-piece 2026 promotional set covering tournament announcement and winner presentation. Institutional approval and rights for game characters, logos and trademarks must be verified before publication.
Behind the Work
This provisional case study groups two Next Gen E-Sport tournament posters with a champion mock cheque as one 2026 event communication system. The design challenge was to present a large amount of competition information while preserving the speed, spectacle and visual intensity associated with esports. Oversized metallic and orange display type establishes a clear event identity, while layered game characters, glow effects, textures, halftone patterns and geometric panels build energy around the hierarchy. A likely workflow began by prioritising the event name, prize pool, dates and participation limits before arranging character cutouts around those messages. Contrast and scale were then adjusted so the key facts remained readable against the detailed backgrounds. The landscape mock cheque extends the same champion-focused language into winner presentation collateral. Embedded metadata verifies Canva as the export tool; the two portrait posters share one Canva document, while the mock cheque comes from a separate document. Ammar contributed as the designer. Before publication, the event outcome and institutional approval should be confirmed. All game characters, game logos, institutional marks, the QR code destination and other third-party imagery also require a rights and accuracy review.
