The work explores how ordinary subjects can become visually engaging when attention is directed toward small details, surface texture and selective focus.

Close framing and shallow depth of field isolate the subject from its surroundings. The smartphone photograph uses crisp detail and controlled blur, while the flower image experiments with saturated colour and macro-style emphasis.

The provisional workflow involves selecting subjects with distinctive textures, testing angles and focus points, reviewing background distraction and adjusting crop, colour and contrast during editing. A broader sequence is still needed for a complete photography series.

This provisional photography study focuses on how close framing can reveal texture, material and colour in familiar subjects. The strongest supplied image uses a smartphone as its subject, drawing attention to small surface details while a shallow depth of field separates the focal area from the background. The likely creative process involved testing camera distance, angle and focus position until the most visually interesting detail became clear.
