Project Summary
A short-film case study combining the Pilihan key visual, a privacy-safe casting poster and an embedded version of the completed film.
Idea / Concept
The poster establishes a dramatic identity for a story centred on choice, consequence or personal conflict. The visual direction prioritises mood and title recognition rather than revealing the full narrative.
Technique / Approach
A vertical cinematic composition uses character imagery, tonal contrast, layered effects and focused title treatment. The key visual is suitable as campaign artwork but cannot demonstrate filmmaking technique by itself.
Creative Process / Idea Generation
The provisional process interprets the film theme, selects a central dramatic image and builds hierarchy around title, mood and supporting credits. Storyboard, production stills and editing evidence are needed to document the actual video workflow.
Tools / Software
Canva for the supplied key poster (embedded template/export metadata). Camera, editing, audio and production tools remain to be confirmed.
Final Outcome
A complete campaign presentation comprising the key poster, a privacy-safe casting poster and an embedded short film that visitors can play directly on the case-study page.
Behind the Work
This case study brings together the Pilihan short film, its key visual and a casting-call poster as one campaign presentation. The key poster creates a dramatic identity through focused character imagery, tonal contrast and prominent title treatment, while the casting artwork extends that visual direction into a practical recruitment message for the production. Its hierarchy prioritises the film title, audition date, character requirements and contact area so potential participants can scan the information quickly. For public display, all personal telephone numbers in the casting poster have been deliberately blurred while the names and remaining design are retained. The embedded film now allows visitors to move beyond the promotional artwork and watch the completed moving-image outcome directly on the page. Together, the three assets demonstrate how a film project can be supported before and after production through consistent visual communication. Canva is verified for the supplied key-poster export. Before the production account is considered final, Ammar should confirm the exact film role, camera and editing tools, full credits, synopsis, music and footage permissions, and any storyboard or production stills that can document the filmmaking process.
